CEO Aaron Bellish to Succeed David Loevner as Chairman of Harding Loevner Executive Committee
Harding Loevner CEO Aaron Bellish will succeed David Loevner as Chairman of the firm’s Executive Committee effective July 1, 2025. Aaron succeeded David as CEO at end-2022; combining the roles of CEO and Chairman is a return to the management structure that was in place prior to 2023. David, 71, will step off the Executive Committee and become a Senior Adviser to the firm, available for consultation. This transition reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to well-planned, orderly succession. No changes are occurring to portfolio management or other roles, or to our longstanding partnership with AMG, which ensures Harding Loevner’s operating autonomy and facilitates the transition of equity ownership from each generation of employees to the next.
The Executive Committee that governs Harding Loevner will consist of six employees: CEO and Chair Aaron Bellish, Chief Investment Officer Ferrill Roll, Vice Chairman Simon Hallett, Chief Administrative Officer Maura Karatz, Director of Research Yoko Sakai, and Director of Investment Communications Ray Vars.
